HQ Theatres has announced that Christopher Glover has been appointed to run Dartford?s Orchard Theatre.
As the new theatre director, Glover will succeed Andy Hill, who recently became chief executive of the Grand Opera House in Belfast.
Glover will start his new role in December, when he will take over from acting theatre director Suzannah Bowles.
He leaves his position as general manager of the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, where he has worked for more than nine years.
Derek Nicholls, chief executive of HQ Theatres, said: ?I know that Christopher Glover has a shrewd and informed understanding of all the important programming strands, and I have every confidence that he is the right person to build on [the theatre?s] success, and to realise the full potential of the Orchard as a performing arts and entertainment centre for Dartford and its region.?
